Design process
Discuss the specifications
On our first meeting we'll discuss what you want your Web site to do for you and what content you want to include. We'll start making a list of specifications and from this I will generate a quote for your consideration.Write the content
If you're happy with the specifications and my quote I'll get straight to work on helping you with writing the content for your site, or if you'd prefer to do this yourself, I offer a copy editing service for the content you've written.Develop the prototype
When the content is ready we'll discuss the structure of the site. I believe in letting the content shape the site, so at this point there will be a lot of content and relatively few graphics. Building from there, I'll create custom graphics and/or photographs to compliment your content and will present you with a mock-up design and report on what I believe will work best for your site. With your input, we'll continue to refine the site until you are satisfied so you'll know exactly what the finished product looks like in advance.Production
Once you are satisfied with the prototype, I'll set about making the site work by designing a user friendly and widely accessible Web site with a visually appealing and intuitive graphical interface. You'll be able to view my progress on your site through the client's area on my server.Launch the Finished Product
Once the site is complete and you have approved its final form, it is time to go live and your site will be accessible to anyone on the Internet.Site Promotion
The next step is to attract visitors. My quote includes free submission to major search engines. For search engine optimisation, I can either provide an additional quote or refer you to search engine strategy specialists.Ongoing Support
After your site is complete and online, I'll continue to provide you with support as and when required.
